... to the emails I've received, I've been a bit swamped with things the last few days, hence no new sketches to show. I'll get something up here in the next day or so, then more regularly again after that.

Another dude in a tie. I've really got to spend more time away from the office I think, somehow I've got business people on the brain. At least this guy doesn't have a gun to his head I suppose. That's a plus. Right?

I've noticed that a lot of the guys I draw are in suits and a disproportionate amount of them also have a gun to their heads. Funny about that.

At a meeting not long ago, it occurred to me that I'd rather be almost anywhere than where I was. Don't get me wrong mind you, I like my job as much as the next guy and all but sitting in a meeting room all day just doesn't appeal to me.

Before I knew it, I'd sketched a little country home for some reason.

Truck cab

Anyone in the business world knows that sometimes, it's really hard to stay focused during those long, boring meetings. Personally I've all but given up trying to stay focused, so I do sketches at all meetings now. Strangely, it actually helps pay attention... perhaps merely by virtue of the fact that sketching keeps me awake? I'm not sure.

This is the cab to some sort of truck I sketched awhile back. Never did get a chance to finish it though, as the meeting that spawned it was mercifully short.

Click on it for a larger version, which is something new I'm going to be doing from now on. Also do note the quality, blue lined paper this was drawn on. Yay, office.

Yes, that last drawing didn't scan so well for some reason... I may rescan it sometime.
Yes, I've got several more drawings to put up here, should be over the next few days.
Yes, I'm planning on putting some stuff together for desktop wallpaper.
Yes, I do illustrations in various media aside from ballpoint pen.
Yes, I take requests at least for the time being.

Nothing to do. Nothing at all, and this guy is bored and slightly cranky about it. Somehow I think he's a used car salesman just waiting for 5pm to roll around. Poor bastard.

Well, I say "the police" but really I'm not so sure this guy is a cop. He's wearing a uniform of some sort, and something that could possibly be a bullet proof vest... beyond that I can't say. Maybe he's a security guard?

He was drawn, as always, with a ballpoint pen in about 15 min or so.

I sat down with my sketch pad this past weekend and decided to draw for one hour, with no direction or particular subject in mind. Sixty minutes later I had this guy.

Dago is a guy who exists solely on the internet... as far as I'm concerned anyway. He frequents a message board I read regularly and though I have no clue what he actually looks like, this is how he looks in my head.

Still sorting out how to go about organizing this site. I'm going to mess around with the various photo hosting sites such as Flickr, Zooomer, and Photobucket though I may just end up posting images directly to blogger here and forget all that.

Zooomr seems like a good service and if you sign up for a free account and post one zooomr hosted image to your blog you get a free pro account. That being the case, here's a rough sample of posting a small avatar from zooomr.

Now, to make off with my free pro account. Bwahahahaha. ha.

I'll get this image hosting thing sorted out in the next few days then start posting regularly. I've got a good backlog of sketches to add here, I just want to sort out how this is all going to work before going full steam ahead. Such as it is.

If you work in an office, you've felt the way this guy looks. In fact I do, most everyday.

He's sort of got that, "I'm here and I'm doing my job... but I'm not liking it, and you can't make me like it" attitude we've all come to know and love.

If you aren't him, you know someone like him.
